A question for the SpoFites that follow the MLS: I recently drove by the new stadium being built in STL (great design and location! it's going to be huge here. I can't wait until we start getting national team games) and realized that I haven't paid much if any attention to the league since the last time I saw Oscar Pareja and Jason Kreis play a home game for the Dallas Burn at the Cotton Bowl in 2004 and I should probably catch up a bit before we kick off the 2023 season. I've added The Athletic's coverage to my feed there, but are there any other national writers that cover the league that are considered must-reads?

Ives Galarcep and Grant Wahl are my reading list though Ives is more MLS focused than Grant and both cover a wider range. Neither are totally free but have enough free content for me.
