The better writers resigned after Roy Williams retired rather than coach one more year and go on a farewell tour. If ol' Roy was still coaching NC and it was him vs. Coach K in the Final Four, no one would care who ended up becoming the national champion.
On the women's side we just had a North Carolina - South Carolina territorial war and NC State is about to get tested by U Conn.
Meanwhile, there are some athletes in the tournaments with NIL deals who now earn more than Coach Holloway of St. Peter's.

Oh no. If Carolina ends St Peters' cinderella run today, that means that we get a final four match up of Duke and Carolina. This would be the first time that the two schools would meet in the NCAA tournament, by the way. For K's last season. Can we please get better writers for this season?
