SportsFilter: The Saturday Huddle:
A place to discuss the sports stories that aren't making news, share links that aren't quite front-page material, and diagram plays on your hand. Remember to count to five Mississippi before commenting in anger.
You are now thinking of Peta. You may not want to contribute to their cause, but they are again getting free publicity which will lead to more donations. However, "arm barn" is quite catchy.

I'm a volunteer at an animal shelter. But this is bullshit.
Oh, wait. We'll probably have to stop saying that too.
Chicago Bulls, Texas Longhorns, Houston Texans, your logos are in the cross hairs. We can't have these animals associated with teams that can't play winning ball.
Peta waits till the third game of the World Series to pull this? After the games move from the cattle kingdom to Coca Cola country? They can't even get the timing right.

College FB quote of the day from Gus Johnson, referring to Michigan's tight end:
"Erick All can do a little bit of everything".

It's got to be a gag. Or someone hacked their site.
As fate would have it, PETA headquarters is just across the river from the former epicenter of Michael Vick's dogfighting ring.

From the Signs of the Apocalypse desk:
OK, this is the dumbest shit I've ever heard or seen.
Please let this be something that was cooked up at The Onion.
Alas, it looks like it's for real.
If you print it, they will groan.
