When the Atlanta Falcons absolutely positively have to hire a head coach, they reach an agreement with Arthur Smith

Another team hiring a coach before hiring a GM.

Smith's first job is to figure out if he can get any more mileage out of Matt Ryan, whose skills have dropped off dramatically.

Ryan also looks like he and Wentz sit next to each other in the front row in QB Confidence class. Uncertainty, delayed decision making, holding the ball, etc.

Unfortunately, the Falcons need to get their next QB now instead of addressing other needs early on draft day. They may not do that, and may suffer accordingly.

Matt Stafford for Atlanta's first round pick. There, the Falcons now have a new QB. This is realistic, right? Come on new Atlanta coach, go for it!
