Hey, I am digging the new Washington NFL football helmet.

It's got that Alabama thing going on, which I always liked, but this is a bit bolder.

I hadn't thought about their situation - they said they're going to change the name of the team but they haven't announced a new name yet, but meanwhile, they need to get rid of the old logo ASAP, so hey, do the numbers thing.

I realize it's probably temporary at best, but it's still a good look for the time being.

Cleveland, you could do something like that.

Penn State, how about it. No, forget it, never mind.

I prefer the blankness that is Cleveland's helmet. I really dig this new Warshington helmet as well.

I think the Redtail Snyderhawks have to try to keep those team colors no matter what. That burgundy and gold color scheme is great.

Cleveland's helmets looked so great when they had good teams, usually wore their white unis, played at Municipal Stadium and were covered in mud and grass stains by halftime. Now, with the way they've been playing in their current dark uniform sets, the orange helmets look more like federally mandated safety equipment.

So much so that when Myles Garrett decided to swing a helmet at Mason Rudolph, he used Rudolph's own helmet.
