Unemployed Jameis Winston not only led the league with 30 interceptions in 2019. He also had over 20 potential picks dropped by opposing defenders. The damage could easily have been much worse.
Add in his 12 fumbles (he's averaging 10 fumbles a year since he came into the league) and he's a one man wrecking crew.
Cannon arm and all, I still can't believe anyone thought he was a first round NFL starting QB after his assisted living facility fumble in the Orange Bowl against Oregon. On fourth down with Oregon only rushing three. Even Mark Sanchez never had a moment that bad.
The thing that's keeping Bill O'Brien from pulling the trigger is that Jameis is a free agent and the Texans wouldn't be able to trade any valuable assets to get him.
