Two insults happened in Charlotte today:
1) Ol' Riverboat Ron got sent down the river.
2) OC Norv Turner was named the interim head coach, right? Nope.
Charlotte is about to get an MLS franchise, though. That's actually pretty neat.

In that dreamlike early am stage before being fully awake, I envisioned Ron Rivera coaching the Giants. Or if not them, then maybe the Bears.
But it looks like Norv did get promoted to some sort of almost HC position in NC.
Please tell me that the Panthers didn't act now because they wanted to move quickly to snap up Jay Gruden before anyone else got him.
