At this moment 16 years ago, Cubs fan Steve Bartman was enjoying his last few hours of anonymity.

Today is also the day that the Cubs won the 1908 World Series, beginning a drought that lasted until 2016.

Poor Steve. I felt bad for him immediately because I know I would've done the same thing in that situation. Hey man, a ball is coming your way? Catch it!

For as much I love the Cubs, I hate Cubs fans for ruining his life (hopefully that was just temporary).
