Basketball blogs. Some great, some good. Joe Nets Fan is, as you guessed, a very nice Net's website. At Raptor's Blog, they not only root for the hometeam, they call them out 'when they're playing like punks.' The End Of The Bench has links and commentary. Basketball Rules is mostly links, without commentary. Basketball Notes is a blog by a 10 year old whose 'Nice Job' is like Marv Albert's 'Yes!' The Orlando Magic Fan has commentary and team highlights. The NBA weblog is just that. Did I miss anyone?

I wish there was an aggregate B-Ball blog like baseballblogs. where each team has representation. or at least some semblance of cohesiveness.

End of the Bench could be a great every-other-day-ly read. And Basketball Notes gets the "right on!" ufez award for spirit. Cool post, jason.

I run The End of the Bench and I wanted to thank you guys for the link and the compliments. You guys may also want to check out is All Things NBA. It has links to all the newspapers for each teams cities, fan blogs, and other sites as well as a run down of each day's headlines from around the country. Another to check out is BullsBlog. Obviously it is devoted to the Bulls. I check this one every couple days. A quality blog.

Here is one of the interesting differences between SpoFi and MeFi--Tim could just surf in, register, and comment, adding quality (perhaps even workrtate) to the discussion.

Good post, and Tim your blog is excellent. You had me rolling with your post about the simulated games between players of any era...

Best basketball site ever was Los Chucks' On Hoops. Loved their yearly awards, previews, and trade analysis. Very funny stuff there, sorely missed. They were blogging and dead before it was even a noun.

wow, that All Things NBA sure does what it says on the tin (I could do with smaller sized bylines though. there is less info in the links than in the byline and one swamps the other, in my eye at least).

You know what? Bulls Blog just may be the best basketball site I've ever seen. nah that's not true. I produce BullsBlog and just wanted to thank Tim for the nod. I got links to a lot of basketball blogs on my site, but this post gave me more to check out, so thanks

In lieu of doing a season preview...I'll be doing Eastern Conference playoff predictions. Basically saying that all the teams are bad. Good stuff, Matt!

This post is better than excellent. It's Crapulent. I especially like how the Magic Fan basically lambastes Steven Hunter every 2 or 3 posts, in an effort to get Britton Johnsen to make the cut. Sorry, but Hunter stays. 7 footer from DePaul, or 6-10 from Utah. Nuff said. The person who needs to be cut loose is Jeryl Sasser. How that knucklehead gets drafted before Tony Parker and Raul Lopez is beyond me.
