No! Not Travis!: Yup, the Knicks are apparently trying to shed salary (imagine that). And to our fine Canadian SpoFier's - Layden is working to send Othella to Toronto in exchange for MoPete. Does anyone win in any of these wacky scenarios?
Crazy New York media...

MoPete in a contract year? it'd be tough for the Raps to sign him to market level contract when he can look down the bench and see Alvin and Jerome Williams making more money with the Raps than they could elsewhere.

Let me just say, it is amazing how the Knicks have annually tried their hardest to get rid of Charlie Ward, yet have not been able to do it. Losing Travis Knight and Othella Harrington will do little in the long run for NY. Getting Peterson would be a nice addition, IMO. Not that it makes any difference either way. The Raptors and Knicks both have significant holes to fill.

The New York sports pages make shit up daily, and this is no different. Raptors GM Glen Grunwald isn't an idiot, so this trade won't happen. Nothing to see here.

God I hope so - You can keep Othella - I'd rather have MoPete and his underperforming 13 a game than whateever useless garbage Harirngton does for the Knicks. Gawd what an awful deal.
