Atlanta United's success in only it's second year in MLS is stunning.

Already, they

- Are newly crowned league champions
- Have the league MVP
- Have the highest average per game attendance
- Set a new overall attendance record for home games
- Set a new title game attendance record
- Have the most valuable franchise in the league

It was already clear that Atlanta wasn't a hockey town. The Falcons have regressed at an alarming rate. The Braves have left town and moved to the next county. The Hawks are one of the worst teams in the NBA. At this point it looks like Georgia belongs to soccer, the Masters, and the Dawgs.

Timbers were way outplayed in that game, score was far more likely to be 4-0 than 2-2.
