Who the hell let Syracuse into the damn tournament.

$$$$$

And nothing else.

ACC is weak this year and Syracuse really bad. And they were selected over a team that had a 28-5 record because that team can't get the big schools to play against it and is then penalized for their weak non-conference schedule.

The ACC has 9 schools in the NCAA tournament this year. The Triangle area has all four of it's major universities in it: Carolina, Duke, NC Central, and NC State. And as it happens, the wife has a degree from two of those schools; Carolina and Central. So, perchance we will see a Heels v Eagles final? Disclaimer: I have not looked at the brackets yet

Oh, and the state as a whole has 6 schools in the tournament. The other two besides the Triangle schools are UNC-Greensboro and Davidson. Come on Wake Forest, get it together! You too, East Carolina! Stupid Pirates.

How did USC with a 34 RPI get left out?!?!

"The committee" over values the ACC such that it's teams are assumed to have "quality wins" even if they win less than half of their conference games.

USC is similar to St.Mary's in that "the committee" isn't crazy about the conference they play in.

Other snubs are Oklahoma State and Baylor who play in a power conference which is strong top to bottom and had similar records.
