When I go to the Celtics games, I will frequently watch Smart both on offense and defense for a few possessions. On offense he is fairly conventional, although he works hard to get open. On defense he is a giant pain in the ass. Even when he winds up on a "big" he will not back off, and some of the wrestling is almost of WWE quality. His work with the kids with cancer has been underreported. It is one of the things that athletes in Boston and elsewhere do very well, but the Celtics and Bruins players seem to be quiet about it.

As if I didn't already love Marcus Smart.
