The Cubs crush the Marlins,: 12-3, to even up the NLCS.

That home run by Sosa was legendary. Like "McGwire-legendary" or "Mantle-legendary". Comparable bombs that I've seen would be the one that Canseco hit into the 5th deck at SkyDome and the 4th HR that Delgado hit in that game last month. It's the kind of home run where everyone (hitter, teammates, opposing pitcher, announcers, fans, umpires) stops to watch it go out and then shake their head or say something to the person next to them. I'm cheering for the Cubs in this series, but I do like how the Marlins bench had a nice laugh with the freakishly wild pitch their reliever threw. It's one thing to have your "game face" on when it's close, but if you can't enjoy yourself during the game, what's the point?

I love the camera angle they've used where it looks like the camera's floating above the outfield, then turns to follow the ball as it leaves the stadium. Those wild piches were pretty incredible. You don't often see a pitcher looking around to see where the ball he just threw went. And I agree with you about the Marlins. I'm rooting for the Cubs, too, but I like the energy and passion of the Marlins, and their ability to have fun while losing big shows that they're in good spirits and should compete well over the course of the series.
