There's a rumor afoot that the university and Schiano have already signed the memorandum of understanding (stupid autoplaying video). If so, I think it means that UT is already on the hook for his entire salary.

Wow. Memphis fires Fizdale after beef with Marc Gasol escalates. This is so disappointing. The Grizzlies have long been a great NBA story, and they looked so good to start the year.

Grizzlies now have had 13 different coaches and 14 coaching changes in 22 years of existence. And somehow, none of them have been Larry Brown, George Karl, or Lenny Wilkens, who between them have seemingly coached most of the other teams in the league.
