Happy thanksgiving all. Lions fans have the marquee game of the day. I know some households who have actually pushed back their feast time so they could watch the early game. In past years when the Lions game was the undercard event, folks did their main eating in the early pm so they could settle in to watch the later games.

Cowboys less likely to get jobbed by the officials now that Jerry has dropped his threatened legal actions. Coming from quiet Carson, the Chargers are going to get lightheaded when they see the size of the Dallas crowd.

For some viewers, today will be the only time they get to see Eli in action this season, which means it'll probably be the last time they see him in action.

How is it possible that an NFL playing surface is in the condition of the grass at FedEx Field?

Wow.

Somebody is actually watching the Giants play the Redskins. Field condition is probably the most interesting facet of that contest.

It was a weak moment, cixelsyd, I feel shame.

Mercifully, most viewers in the US were probably semi-comatose by the time that NY-Wash. game started.

All in all, the day was a case study in why Chargers fans should give thanks that their team ended up with Philip Rivers instead of Eli.
