Who has done more to dispel their "loser image"?: When you think quality NFL QB, chances are you don't think of Jake "The Fake" Plummer, or Quincy "The QB not TV show" Carter. But both have come out of the gate looking better than we thought. Who's done more to help their case? Which is a product of the coach or system? Is it a fluke? Are they showing signs of going into the tank?
More inside...
first qb w/ "best luck..." who comes to mind is tommy maddux. he'll be out by week 8.

Nice pick. Anyone think Patrick Ramsay is counting down the weeks till his (sure-to-come) mortifying injury?

As a Steeler fan I am regretting ever saying Maddox was the future. Maddox looked like an XFL qb last night it was sad. Mind you, Kordell wasn't any better so I guess it's time for the Steelers to tank, and draft a good QB in the first round of next year's draft. I'm still pissed they didn't take Pennington a few years ago. Who is the best prospect at QB out in the college ranks right now?

I would have thought a Colts fan would have rang up old Peyton here... no chance of that now is there!

Admittedly the link only references Quincy's good start, but it got me to thinking of "substandard" QBs in the NFL who've had good starts. Any one else have a pick for "Most Improved QB"? How about "QB with best luck/defense who is destined to have a losing record and/or concussion by season's end"?
