My post was a generational overreach. I grew up with the Hardy Boys books in the olden days. Never saw the TV show, movie, or rasslers.
Frank and Joe would be on a case and needed to ditch their school clothes. They changed into their sleuthing trail gear, with checkered shirts, ball caps and bomber jackets. When I saw the post game Curry and Durant presser, all I could think of was the outfitting of young detectives 50 years ago.
Styles come around in cycles. When I watched "The Decision" a few years ago, I wondered who had resurrected the nicest shirt ever worn on Hee Haw and loaned it to LeBron.
