Not exactly the "team player" the New York Yankees like to have around: Ruben Rivera cut from the team after allegedly stealing Derek (Mr. Yankee) Jeter's glove to sell on memorabilia market.

Ruben has been a total dissapointment on the field, now it he is a dissapointment off the field. If he had been a better ballplayer, he'd be making more money and wouldn't have to steal, or if he was a better player, we might forgive him.

Amazing! I do not understand nor will I ever. Put it this way, he was selling the glove for one day's salary. Pre-tax, but still, that's one (1) day. Maybe he can ask Albert Conell for some money? Or advice? Or maybe a lawyer?

Ah yes, George shows that he is still, occasionally, a bad judge of character. But what gets me more steamed is that Cashman should've known better. Oh well, more at-bats for Shane Spencer!!

Unfortunately, Darryl's in trouble again, too.

The latest report says that Rivera is actually Surprised at the decision the Yankees made to cut him. Go figure.
