The Toronto Maple Leafs have had the lead in the third period for every single one of their five games this season. They have just one win, one regulation loss (by one goal), and 3 overtime/shootout losses.

It would be so frustrating if the future (Matthews/Nylander/Marner/Gardiner/Reilly) didn't look so good. I'd like to think this is the way the Blackhawks started out almost a decade ago with Toews/Kane/Versteeg/Seabrook/Keith.
