Looks like someone at EA Sports has a grudge. And I like it.

Time for your weekly MLB chaos update.

Sadly, we are no longer able to have insane tie-breaker situations as NYY , KC, and HOU are eliminated from post-season play.

I'm a Jays fan, so I'm hoping this doesn't happen, but still...

Weekend Guide for Maximum Chaos

- Seattle 3-0 vs. OAK (88 wins)
- Detroit 2-1 vs. ATL (87 wins, require makeup game on Monday)
- Detroit 1-0 vs. CLE (88 wins)
- Toronto 1-2 vs. BOS (88 wins)
- Baltimore 1-2 vs. NYY (88 wins)

They can't start the tie-breakers until the DET/CLE makeup game was done, so then you'd have (based on head-to-head tie-breakers):

TEAM A - SEA (12-8)
TEAM B - TOR (17-15)
TEAM C - BAL (15-18)
TEAM D - DET (9-12)

Monday: DET @ CLE
Tuesday: BAL @ TOR, DET @ SEA
Wednesday: winners play each other in the Wild Card game, based head-to-head record
Thurdsay: Winner @ TEX

So Detroit's schedule could be:

Sunday : @ ATL
Monday : @ CLE
Tuesday : @ SEA
Wednesday : @ TOR
Thursday : @ TEX

OR!

- Seattle 2-1 vs. OAK (87 wins)
- Detroit 2-1 vs. ATL (87 wins, require makeup game on Monday)
- Detroit 0-1 vs. CLE (still 87 wins)
- Toronto 1-2 vs. BOS (88 wins)
- Baltimore 0-3 vs. NYY (87 wins)

Toronto wins the first wild card game, but the other three have to play each other to determine 2nd wild card game, based on head-to-head tie-breakers:

TEAM A - SEA (9-5)
TEAM B - BAL (6-8)
TEAM C - DET (6-8) (loses head-to-head with BAL 2-5)

Monday: DET @ CLE
Tuesday: BAL @ SEA
Wednesday: DET @ Winner of Tuesday
Thursday: Winner @ TOR
Friday: Winner @ TEX

So Detroit's schedule could be:

Sunday : @ ATL
Monday : @ CLE
Tuesday : Sit in Cleveland to determine where to go (BAL or SEA)
Wednesday : @ SEA or @ BAL
Thursday : @ TOR
Friday : @ TEX
