Chelski 2: Aston Villa?: Two potential buyers from South America, including Venezuelan billionaire, Gustavo Cisneros, who was publicly named by Villa as one of the suitors. Cisneros is reported to be worth more than Roman Abramovich, Chelsea's free-spending new owner, who's already spent more than 100mil pounds since the summer just to buy players. BigCalm, are you salivating at the prospect of untold millions at Villa's disposal? Fat Buddha, what about Birmingham City?

This is such a non-story. Villa have only said "yes, we probably did talk to someone", but no, they weren't that interested anyway, and I can't really believe that it might happen. Damn, I'm pessimistic today. I think the Daily Mirror came up with the name Cisneros as the likely man by sticking a pin a list of wealthy South Americans. Cisneros is an utter scumbag (think: more evil version of Robert Maxwell), and to be honest, we'd be much better off with Doug (now, I never though I'd say that).

Fat Buddha, what about Birmingham City? Well, when you're owned by a porn baron, you don't have to worry about international oligarchs... But yeah, Chelsea right now is like a rich kid with all the shiny Panini stickers, refusing to swap with the other kids.

Birmingham City is owned by a porn baron? I did not know that! I guess Larry Flynt coming in as an investor wouldn't be any news then. Thanks for the local angle, guys.

Yow! I may have to switch to supporting Birmingham. How about some new names for the team: Boobingham City? Boppingham City? Bangingham (or Bangingher or Bangingthem) City?

Ah, reality restored. It looks like Man United may be the targets after all.

And looks like Man U target Freddie Adu may end up at, you guessed it, Chelsea. 3 million pounds for the 14-yr-old.

Man, this so laughable. Some unknown person from the depths of the rainforest wants to take over some mediocre midlands football team. So desperate are the mediocraties to gain ascendancy over the team that bears the citys name they all start salivating, not realising that Ellis has been a Bluenose all along and this is part of his plan to humiliate and degrade the sorry shower of shit from Aston even further. To be honest, I couldn't give a flying fuck in a doughnut about the Villa or Chelsea, but the Chelsea thing is fascinating. Roman has upped the ante incredibly, but is so rich it all represents pocket money. He has no history in this country, never mind the general environs of Slough, or other desperate new towns from whence Chelseas suport comes. Chelsea is a plaything for the dude, and the crash, when it comes, as it inevitably will, will be hilarious.
