No CFL for Clarett: "I'm a true believer that all players should try to get their college education," Poop said Thursday
In other words, Popp's saying, "Come on down." He just doesn't want to be seen as driving the situation. The USFL was the last league to take a somewhat neutral stance on athletes leaving college ball before their senior season.

sorry, I'm still laughing about the poop thing. Clarett staying in school is just NOT going to happen. He should challenge the NFL's rule against entering early. It's unconstitutional, and just plain silly. It's not the league's job to make sure kids stay in school.

NY Times writer (columnist?) William Rhoden thinks Ohio State should return last year's championship trophy since at least some of Clarett's violations occured during the 2002 season. Ooh, spank the whole team for one a55hat!!!
