The NBA's Western Conference is a pretty neat story right now. Everyone is gushing over Golden State's performance, but the Spurs are right on their heels and the Thunder are right there as well.

And below that elite level, the Mavs and Clips are doing a tidy standings battle in the ongoing DeAndre Jordan grudge match.

That's sort of like watching daytime TV drama instead of a Catherine Deneuve film without subtitles.
