Fantasy Premier League, Week Seven: The Premier League begins early Saturday with seventh-place Crystal Palace visiting West Brom. FC Gallifrey's back atop the Spofiship with a 75-point week, topped only by an 87-point explosion by new second place team EAV FC that should be remembered in song. This feat was accomplished by having Alexis Sanchez (11.1m) as captain on a week he scored 20 points (3 goals, 90 minutes, 3 bonus) and a front line of Olivier Giroud (8.8m), Graziano Pelle (8.0m) and Jamie Vardy (6.6m) who put up 25. There's a lot of carnage on the injury front, with Vincent Kompany (6.3m), Yaya Toure (8.9m) and Callum Wilson (5.8m) all out and Christian Benteke (8.3m) doubtful -- and that's just my team. Sigh.
My heart (and team) sank when I saw Wilson fall sideways - it screamed "severe" knee injury. Of course, there was the big fat zero from defense and Joe Hart.

Anyone have Aguero?

65 points; I'll get 9 more from Vardy (alt. captain since Mahrez didn't play), could have had 6 more had I put Mertesacker above Cresswell in subs (Mertesacker was "questionable").
I gagged when I saw the 164-point team. Used Aguero as the triple captain.

Yeah, I had him as captain, wish I'd had the stones to pull the Triple Captain lever but with how City have been going and their injuries I figured something like a dismal draw was more likely.

I used my triple captain this weekend on Dimitri Payet against Sunderland, so I ended up with 30. I thought that was good until I saw what Sergio Aguero did. I dropped further into mid-table obscurity.

Forgot to mention: transferred Ighalo in for Wilson. I'm a bit embarrassed to accept the 4 points for his goal (thanks, Mr. Boruc!).

After this weekend there's another international break from Oct. 5-13.
