Who needs a good Lawyer?: Can you believe the Patriots released Lawyer Milloy today? Wow. The NFL is a strange league sometimes...I just hope they know what they're doing; they've just released the team captain and leader. Mr. Belichick, you may be a defensive mastermind, but do you still think you're smarter than the rest of the league? Meanwhile, in all likelyhood, Milloy may just make it to Buffalo for New England's Week 1 tilt -- only he'd be playing for the Bills. Drew and Co. are definitely interested.

In a year, we might be saying the same thing about Ty Law.

I will miss seeing his lemon yellow ferrari outside the Outback and will treasure the memory (and picture) of him wearing a man-fur to the Superbowl parade.

It's a tragedy whenever a Husky is released by a team, especially one with the reputation of Milloy. But his numbers were down last year and he was making a boatload of money. Alot of Pat's players seemed very shocked, clearly he commanded much respect on the squad. He'll land with another team, unfortunately it doesn't look like it's going to be the Seahwaks...

The Vikings wanted him and sure could have used him, but Red McCombs doesn't want to spend the money.

I'm a big supporter of teams that have a commitment to sucking most in the most grave situations. That's why I hope he's a Bill - because the city of Buffalo needs to get it's hopes up again...

He must have already had a room booked for the weekend and didn't want to waste it.
