That was exceptionally harsh, but I like the idea a remark like that won't be as outrageous in the future. When you can have a laugh at someone's expense for public religiosity, it'll mean faith isn't such a dominant force in cultural life that almost no one can get elected to Congress while claiming to be an atheist. I read and watch a lot from England these days, and they take the piss out of someone over religion far more than Americans do.
But still, ouch. Pedro Strop has a job where 100-mph projectiles are fired back at his head, and in that performance it was a particularly acute risk. Be the bigger man, Bob.

It's like deja vu: Brazil go out of the Copa America on penalties to Paraguay for the second straight time. Especially surprising that Dunga put on Ribeiro for his goalscorer Robinho in the 88th minute, presumably for his PK skills, only to have Ribeiro push the ball wide right when Paraguay's Villar went left.

The confidence pool is up to date. Ying Yang Mafia and I got all of our top four in the semifinals. Can't imagine that will ever happen again.
