I was not expecting it but what a great weekend of football this turned out to be! Starting with Serbia/Brazil in the U-20s World Cup Final, then all the matches from Copa America and Women's World Cup plus Earthquakes beating (a down bleeding, to be fair) Sounders in MLS, well, wow.

The Norwegians who don't know how to play football met England today in the World Cup and ran the show for the first half hour. England then started to come back into it and were looking the better side in the second half. So of course, Norway scored.
A while later England equalised Norway's goal from a corner with one of their own and then on 75 minutes Lucy Bronze won the game with what the boys from the Guardian would call "a thunder bastard."
It's the first World Cup knockout game the English ladies have ever won.

Wow. I'd guess he's about 8-9, but whatever his age, Hernandez' kid has some seriously good form.
The MLB woman article didn't load for me, grum. However, it did make me go google that 13-year-old knuckleballer who made headlines a while back. Turns out she's 16 and in high school now, still pitching, and apparently having quite a bit of success.

Pitching might be a genetic trait.
"King" Felix Hernandez's kid throws out a ceremonial first pitch.
