Well, that escalated quickly. Now that Oklahoma's Samaje Perine has bested Melvin Gordon's still-warm single-game rushing mark with 427 yards and 5 TDs versus Kansas (he also lead the team in receiving with 1 catch for 19 yards), who will break the record next week? I bet Gordon wishes he had played the 4th quarter last week...

The Raptors fall behind the Cavaliers by 18 points in the first quarter, but then win the game by 17. They are now tops in the Eastern Conference, and have already beaten the top team in the Western Conference (Grizzlies).

Huh.

The legend of Masai Ujiri continues - getting Lowry back on an insanely reasonable deal allowed them to pick up Lou Williams and James Johnson to deepen the bench despite Landry Fields' dead weight contract.

Teams had given up on Lowry because of his injury history. He's the type of player a team grows to count on for steady performance every night ..... as long as he is healthy.
