Premiership League Team Guide.: With just over a week until the start of the EPL 2003-04 season, ESPN Soccernet publishes their individual "profile" pages for each of the 20 EPL teams. A quick read containing links to official and fan sites, analysis of last season's performance, summer transfers, players to watch, youth prospects, team chances for success, and substantial space dedicated to fan commentary. If you're a newbie to the EPL, or haven't decided which team you'll support, this might be a good place to start. If you're an old hand, see if you agree or disagree, or better still, if you learn something new.

This post is too informative to be so lonely...

Well I read the first link on the list, and it was Wolves. When it said they had a good chance of avoiding relegation, I knew there was no point reading the rest. If Wolves stay up, it will be by the skin of their teeth.

LOL, salmacis!

And over your dead body, one would imagine salmacis. The Birmingham page was pretty accurate. Perhaps you Yanks are finally getting the hang of "soccer".

I doubt it, squealy. ESPN Soccernet is probably produced 100% in Europe, the lion's share in England.

Poor West Brom, beaten by a former Villan.

If The Pool make it into the top 4 this season, as so many of us are confident they will do, which of last year's foursome will fall out? From all I see, either Newcastle will face a huge dissapointment or Arsenal will suffer from their budget woes--the Charity Shield game may tell more than expected about their season.

Soccernet is basically the Daily Mail. Nothing to do with Yanks at all. worldcup2002: Yeah, but what goals. Even the West Brom fans applauded him.

Merson was a top choice in EPL fantasy league teams two seasons ago. Consistent top-class performer.

and you have to wonder just how good Merson would have been without the Drugs, drink and gambling problems. Fantastic player, and I wish the Villa still had him.

I wondered this a little while ago.
