And now here's Rolling Stone's actual story on Aaron Hernandez. Feel free to skip the bit in the middle where Ron Borges grinds his axe about "the stoop-to-conquer Patriots of Bill Belichick". Guess I'm not the only one who thinks Borges' contributions aren't a net positive.

I just want to mention that during Tuesday evening's 6:00pm TSN SportsCentre broadcast, 4 of the first 6 stories they covered (#2, #3, #5, #6) were about Team Canada's Olympic Men's Hockey Team.

Never mind that they don't play for another 6 months, and they won't even select the final roster for 4 months, TSN thought it was important to debate the merits of the goaltender options, and the defencemen choices for Canada. As well, they had a piece about Martin St.Louis and Steven Stamkos not making the 2010 team.

It's gonna be a LONG six months...

I have no real opinion on college football, but this story has been unavoidable in the dead weeks of August, so unfortunately I know enough about this Manziel story to think the outcome is comical. Way to reinforce every negative stereotype, NCAA, I am sure this bodes well for the future.

One half of a football game as a suspension for Manziel? Devastating. He'll be fortunate to approach 300 total yards and 4 TDs in only one half versus Rice.

I'll take that any day over the 4-Letter Network's coverage of the sport...

I'm still pissed off that the Jays, after fleecing the Angels by dumping Vernon Wells on them, proceeded to immediately flip Mike Napoli to Texas because they had, ugh, J.P. Arencibia.

Napoli was just WAITING for a chance to shine.

Or over the bombardment all of Canada will have to endure from TSN Leafs1 and TSN Leafs2.

Well, he hid his light under a bushel pretty well for the last few months.
