I thought domes were supposed to prevent this sort of thing? Last night there was a rain delay at the Skydome. So the dome itself isn't to blame but rather it was that the retractable roof was open and could not be closed in time. Oops. (Time for Toronto fans to reminisce about the fog delay and the Attack of the Aphids)
Actually its the operators and management - I don't know why they don't keep the dome closed more anyway. With the roof open, its a pitcher's park. And pitching ain't exactly a strength of that team. Dome takes about 20 minutes to close.

Weedy, dome takes a lot longer to close now that Canada has decriminalized your namesake.

Fucking stoners can't read a doppler to save their lives. "Holy shit, dude - it's raining inside. Whoaaaaaa."

I rather have rain falling into SkyDome than some 50 ton concrete blocks like in Montreal's Olympic Stadium. Then again, Skydome has had it's share of things falling off the roof. I guess things are even. I found a list of stadium problems.

And Mariner fans can reminisce about falling tiles in the Kingdome. Or not. BTW, excellent post gspm. Thanks for the work.
