Uli Hoeness is tired of paying for Spain's shit.
"When people ask me what clubs could be in danger, I reply with the list of the only clubs that are not in any kind of danger. They are Barcelona, Real Madrid and Athletic Bilbao."

I'm very happy with the NCAA's online coverage of the tournament this year. Last year you could watch online or on mobile as long as you had a cable subscription. This year it is completely free. Great job by the NCAA (how many times will I ever get to say that?).

It looks like it's that way for four hours, then you have to have a cable subscription. I couldn't get it to work anyway, but that was only in chrome. Maybe I'll try some other browser.

Bit snowy in Denver, then. Twitter collectively noted that the Nike hi-vis ball did not exactly live up to its name.

I've been deceived. Fortunately Michigan will be on CBS today, which is the only tournament channel I get.

Well, at least you got four hours. :/

[On second thought, I erased what I wrote. It wasn't offensive, but it was probably uncool to link directions to an online TV rebroadcaster.]

I don't think it's uncool at all. All these broadcasters are about 10 years behind where they should be for access.
I mean I have money burning a hole in my pocket to pay for blanket, quality Formula One coverage online. Nobody wants my money though, leaving me to have to deal with torrents if I want anything approaching acceptable coverage. (In other words something other than TSN's fucking horseshit, which yes, I do also pay for.)

NBC broadcasts Sunday Night Football for free, which I think is a big step. Of course, they are also responsible for god awful Olympics coverage.

Baseball doesn't need a new labor agreement: the teams will just screw low-level employees instead. The link's a little over-the-top in though it sounds like teams want to offer defined contribution plans rather than the existing defined benefit plans; on the other hand, MLB teams aren't exactly local school districts either.
