This has been on like Donkey Kong for a while already. More than a dozen law firms have spent $20 million in legal costs pursuing the suit since 2009.
It was pretty ridiculous for the NCAA to share no money with former college athletes being shown in videogames and re-broadcasts of games and used on licensed merchandise. I'm glad the case is expanding to go after the holy grail of current TV money.

The story notes that this means the lawyers have real reasons to pursue this now...
