This story makes me want to keep up with K2 climbing news. A Google search turned up K2 Climb, which reported that as of July 6 they were on a mountain preparing for K2 but had not reported recently. One quibble about the article:
Her biceps are a little too large for a cover girl, and her thighs, though slim, are obviously powerful. Her toenails are unpainted and chipped. Otherwise, Segarra is slight and feminine and animated.Muscles, unpainted toenails, and "powerful" thighs aren't feminine?

Feminine, schmeminine, muscles on chicks absolutely rule. Thanks for the link, FB. I always love the extreme mountaneering stories. I'm not a morbid person by any stretch but stories of people pushing the envelope to reach a summit always interest me.
