Yes - Manny met with Mitt before the fight. Maybe they can form a club for people who came second.
It was a pretty good fight up to the end - Pacquiao won the first two rounds, but then Marquez hit him with a right hand that started somewhere outside the stadium.
Pacquiao put Marquez down in response and then totally did not see another Marquez right coming and that was good night.
The way he toppled face down and did not move I was worried it might be a serious injury, so it was good to see him sitting up on his stool.
I thought Marquez won the third fight quite solidly, (although not clearly enough to be outraged when the decision went the other way), and Marquez thought he won both the second and third fights, so there was a feeling that Marquez didn't want to leave this one to the judges.

That loud sigh you may have heard came from Floyd Mayweather. He wasn't willing to risk his unbeaten record to Manny, and in a radio interview Friday, Bob Arum claimed Mayweather once turned down a potential $100 million purse to fight Pacquiao.
Oops!
BTW, did Mitt and Ann tell Manny they supported him 47 percent?
