He had that look last night that you want to see in your ace's eyes. That "skip's gonna have to shoot me to get my out of this game" look. Haven't seen that in a Tiger's pitcher since Morris...
Sometimes I wonder how Verlander doesn't win 30 games a year.
No run support, usually. Or the shaky bullpen mucking it up.

Yeah, sometimes, but sometimes he's just off. Hell. even the Red Sox had a good game against him this year.
He's just so dominant when he's on.
