I think there is probably some recency bias with this, but interesting exercise nonetheless. What the simulator did not account for, however, is that manager Jonathan Wilson's tactical nous would obviously pull his team up above the relegation zone.

I kind of liked that Wilson's team was of the romantic but flawed variety. Seemed apropos.

What a lovely idea. Still annoyed that while OOTP allows you massive creativity to create whatever baseball league you want, FM2012 doesn't allow such craziness.

I was suprised at how far many of these players fell in the draft, but I suppose the importance of building a team that would function caused a bit of that. (Maybe that's why my fantasy teams perform the way they do: i.e, poorly.)

Adu is in Philadelphia, where he had a decent 2011 for the Union IIRC.

It's interesting that so many current players make the list. I need to peer more closely to see which interesting omissions there are. Tony Adams is one that comes immediately to mind.
