Debo270: according to the Post-Gazette Arians was going to retire last year due to health reasons, so I don't think this is scapegoating. And the other day the team president said a few coaches plan to retire.

Although the Post-Gazette is reporting today that it is unclear if he was not given a new contract. May have allowed him to save face.
That being said, I think it is time for new blood.
