Woods Leads U.S. to Presidents Cup Win: Tiger Woods beat Aaron Badderly 4&3, giving the U.S. the 18th point it needed to clinch the Presidents Cup. "It feels good," said Woods, bouncing back from a biggest-ever loss in round one. "I hoped it wouldn't come down to my point."

Odd, Tiger goes 2-3 to Furyk's 5-0 yet the headlines are all about Tiger?

Even his quote "I hoped it wouldn't come down to my point" is not what you want to hear out of him.

Yeah, I get the media sensation that he is, but just think some of the guys that carried him ought to get some credit.

Woods beat Australian Aaron Baddeley 4&3 to give the US the 18 points they needed to retain the Cup.

So who won the other 17 points to let the U.S. win the thing? It was not Tiger Woods.

The rest of the U.S. team deserves the credit for the win. An earlier Tiger would have played the media to give his teammates the deserved credit.

Maybe this one did too. I just haven't seen it.

I think this is an example of "leading from behind."

Wasn't Tiger the point that put the U.S. ahead? That's how sports work. The person who got the last TD, run, etc. gets the credit. The same goes for the one who gave up the last point (e.g., the closer).

I wonder how long into the night the celebration ran at Perkins.
