Davis Love III has had a rough month......: should be an interesting side note for this weeks Open championship.

It seems weird for the press to speculate on how a devastating family tragedy might affect Love's golf game. Somehow, the prospect of missing some greens or three-putting a hole probably isn't much of a concern compared to catching a well-loved relative embezzling from you and then finding him with his brains all over his car.

Yikes. Tough story. I can't even imagine how he must feel. I presume golfing is therapeutic to him and he feels it's best to get out there and play. Who knows, he's playing about as well as anybody this year, maybe he'll sneak onto the leader board.

Regardless of his game, not turning the guy in to handle it himself speaks volumes to what kind of human being Love is.
