Tiger Woods needed the sponsor exemption to play in the Chevron World Challenge, his own tournament.

that miss by Torres is unbearable to watch especially because it is against Man U.

That Torres shot is almost identical to one I missed.

At school.

When I was 10.

It's been a pretty decent week for The Hoser thus far, as we're 11-4 straight up and 9-6 against the spread. Not fantastic, you say, and I'd agree -- except for the fact we've already gotten the Lock of the Week (Tampa Bay) and we need the Giants to cover the -6.5 tonight against the Steven Jackson-less Rams.

That would make it a very happy Tuesday at the local convenience store for The Hoser, as you can see below:

Ignore my daughter's doodling. Apparently Daddy Hoser doesn't keep enough colouring books handy.

If those come in you'll be able to drown her in colouring books.

Any of you catch the story about the Cowboy's defensive coordinator Rob Ryan's play sheet?

Seems the Ryan brothers are one kinky bunch.

Good job wf !!!

Here's betting there's no media circus around Eli getting the job done without any receivers. Not great numbers, but got the one that counts.

Wait, so does this mean you've actually won $1,760 in real cash on the barrel head, in two weeks?

If so, maybe wfrazerjr should turn pro! :)

Hardly, Hal.

I bet only a little in reality each week, which is reflected in the bottom set of numbers. The other totals are based on a fictitious gambler betting $2,000 per week -- $100 per game, $300 for the Lock and $100 on the Trifecta at 6:1. The number for the Lock jumps to $500 when the byes start. That does reflect how I used to bet with my bookie in the States, except subtract a zero off every number. :)

Trust me, as the season goes along that number will tank faster than a new CBS sitcom.

Also, I promise not to little the Huddle with this crap every Monday -- I was just a little geeked up this week.

The longer Torres' misery continues the better IMO. Man U, whether I like it or not, are only going to be challenged by City this season for the league and so I will take my jollies as I can.
