Interesting. The different formations on offense and defense definitely make game planning a lot like a chess match. Also gives some insight into the type of player teams target in the draft, etc. It all comes down to the scheme they've committed to and how well any prospective player fits that scheme. I always knew this, but this article shows how, for example, not every big nose tackle is suited for every 3-4 alignment.
