Rangers Win 11th Straight Game: The Texas Rangers have won their 11th straight game, a 3-1 victory over the Seattle Mariners Sunday that puts the Rangers four games up in the AL West. Rangers pitchers have a 2.09 ERA over that span and have held opponents to a .194 batting average.
11 in a row is 11 in a row, not taking too much away from them, however, they were against the Orioles, Athletics and Mariners...3 of the bottom 4 teams in the league.
Only three games in the month of July against teams with a winning record. They need to make hay while the sun shines, as my Grandpa used to say.

Yep, but every one of them still counts as a win.

Actually with inflation it's more like 0.96 of a win.

Doesn't matter who you beat as long as you win. Rangers are 4 games up in their division, if they keep playing well they'll be a tough out come October again.

Now, to say it doesn't matter who you beat is a bit much, as clearly a team that only can beat lesser teams has some issues. But, as I said 11 in a row is 11 in a row.
My point was, the Rangers need to have great July in order to set themselves up for a much harder August.
