Glad to see the Wings didn't overspend on a defensemen. Commodore isn't anything special, but the large amount of cap space the Wings have will be of much greater use in the next year or so than it could have been this year.

Agreed. It also gives them wiggle room in the event of injuries, and maybe to be a buyer at the trade deadline. Now they need to do what everyone has neglected to do throughout his career, and put a #64 on Commodore's sweater...
