Heh, the motion refers to the Mavericks as world champions.
They're NBA club champions, The U.S.A. are world champions.

I've seen (and probably written) worse. Anecdotal aside - When I was interning at one California commission, one opposing attorney repeatedly referred to his client's professional vessel as a "scrimp boat." I thought it was a typo until he repeated it seven or eight more times.
