Pitch Invaders: Loathed by players but loved by fans. Some employ costumes. Some are dogs. (dog gets a little rough treatment in the beginning but is unharmed and seemingly no worse for the wear) Wheelchair friendly! Sometimes an invader is a beach ball. Then there is Karl Power, and Jimmy Jump. Jimmy has had quite the career but Karl has a song written about him. And sometimes you get an autograph. (via MetaFilter).
