Pistons Fire Coach John Kuester: Four days after new ownership took control of the Detroit Pistons, the team fired coach John Kuester. A former Cleveland Cavaliers and Pistons assistant, Kuester was 57-107 in two seasons with the Pistons.

He should be holding the door for Joe D on the way out. This team is in such disarray, I wouldn't be surprised to find out Isiah Thomas was secretly the brains behind it...

To be fair Dumars hasn't been able to make any serious moves while the ownership situation has been in flux.

The Pistons need a strong coach who can deal with their egos and childish behavior. They could deal with scrapping half the team too, but that might be too much to hope for.

Yes, but the moves he did make were horrible. His drafting seemed to get better after Darko, but has he made one trade or signing since (and including) the Billups trade that made the team better?
