Twins great Harmon Killebrew has died: Baseball fans in Minnesota are mourning a legend. Twins Hall of Famer Harmon Killebrew died Tuesday at his home in Scottsdale, Arizona after battling esophageal cancer. He was 74.
Sad. Classic player from baseball's past, and truly one of the names synonymous with the game. RIP.

That was rather fast, given that he announced he was going into hospice care just a few days ago. I'm glad that his demise was obviously not drawn out and painful.
RIP, Killer. Greatest slugger name ever, and a great slugger and great man, too.
