I'm watching Yankees/Red Sox (waiting for hockey to start), word is Jorge Posada pulled himself from tonight's lineup, has spoken to Cashman, Yankees media relations, and will make a statement after the game.

Now they're claiming it's back stiffness, that just happened the night he was demoted to 9th in the batting order.

Jorge loves being a Yankee > anything. He's trying his best to help his team win. Today, due to back stiffness he wasn't able to do that.

Yankees probably should have jettisoned both Jeter and Posada this year. They have a solid roster otherwise and these 2 are more distractions than contributors.

I've been rooting for the Thunder/Grizzlies series to go 7 as a Mavericks fan. But I'm beginning to wonder if being off so long is a good idea.
